Spaced Out
Do you ever take inspiration from your own work? Do you look at an 'old' project and allow it to inspire a new one? Flicking through my albums I came across this layout of the Riesenrad in Vienna:
I realised that the same treatment would work well for the rather blurry shot from the plane window as we arrived in LA :) Exactly the same treatment, that is! (Except that this time I added a title and used Stampbord squares to mount the photo on as I didn't have any chipboard ones to hand!)
This post was brought to you by Shimelle's Pretty Paper Party. Even though it doesn't, in fact, use any pretty paper...

And very effective it is, too.
What a great layout for that picture!
Perfect inspiration and I do look back at the layouts that I really love and use those elements :)
No i don't but i might take inspiration from you! Great layout.
Love this layout as a possible title page or end page in an album. Thanks for the inspiration!

I do often repeat some motifs in my work and I can see how our motif makes a good one for repeating - it's a great layout Mel!
Loved the previous post and shot of the latte cup - very pretty =-)
Excellent re-use of a great technique. I like the second one better - I miss titles when there isn't one.
I didn't even notice the lack of Pretty Paper till you mentioned it!

Beautiful. I love how this looks. So simple and gorgeous!
Another great design, Mel!
I think I might try this trick with one of my (many) plane-in-clouds photos! thanks for the inspiration!
