Huntington Gardens

I've always read with great interest Shimelle's free prompts for 4x6 Photo Love, and I have scrapped in response to a couple of them, but I haven't always had the chance. This latest one though came at just the right time (partway through a class, so I was 'in the groove', but on a day that there was no class prompt) - and it made use of a divided page protector, one of which I just happened to have! :)

Scraps of pp including Echo Park, October Afternoon stickers, washi tape, Martha Stewart butterfly punch, Thickers, Glitz alphas

Some of my photos of the Huntington tell stories, and either have been or will be scrapped in their own right, but I had several other shots that didn't necessarily merit a layout to themselves but which I wanted to have in my album. The prompt was perfect!

And this is definitely an idea I will use again - possibly even with different types of divided page protectors - because that's the kind of crazee rule breaker I am.... ;)

A great set of photos and it's worked out really well. I have a similar idea in mind for our half-term photos ~ a DLO with the page protector in the 'middle', as it were.

I've really been enjoying seeing the development of these 'photo album/scrapbook pages' and have some behind pages in a couple of albums.

Have to say people were looking at one today and no one seemed to notice when they went from the more intricate pages to the divided page protectors.

Good thing I scrap for me :)

I have been loving this type of divided page protector. I'm not such a fan of the 6 x 6" x 4" protectors they seem to neat for me! Love the Tomboy vs Vader page I would love to fight Vader, the force is strong with this one! Peachy x

And what have rulers ever done to you that you need to break them????
:P
Love the pages - great way to include a lot of photos ... but I'm wondering why people don't just stick a load of photos onto a piece of neutral card and put that into a normal page protector ... perhaps I'm missing the point?!

I can imagine how many gorgeous photos from the Huntington that you'd want to scrap! This is a great layout of them. :)

Those photos really give an idea of the beautiful clear light and the amazing sunshine, don't they?
