16th November: The Mother and I spent the morning at a big local shopping outlet, getting some of our Christmas shopping done :) (And then in the afternoon I went to Asda for the weekly shop, and followed my usual pattern through November and December of adding in just a couple of imperishables for the Christmas food fest, to spread the cost - this week it was the turkey!)

I do that too Mel:) Although I don't think of the turkey as imperishable. I like it to be fresh and free range, so it's usually the very last thing I buy.
Yes, turkey is always last on my list too. But that's probably as much to do with the size of my freezer as any organic zeal lol! I have tucked away a few bits and pieces. Although last night I brought a box of Christmas M&M's out of hiding..
Mmm got the taste buds going :)
Turkey is fresh and free range here although I am about to order it.
We do the spread the imperishables out plan too - but then I start my Christmas shopping in January usually.
