Advantage of autoposts: They're an easy way to make sure of my Blogtoberfest posts, and I can show projects I completed (in some cases) weeks ago but didn't have time to blog till now, but spread the many photos over several consecutive posts :)
Disadvantage: Sometimes I have a post that I would have written sooner if I didn't already have all the autoposts set - I don't want to interrupt a sequence of linked posts, and changing the date on lots of already-set-up autoposts is a faff! But it can mean that posts like this one get delayed more than they should...
Amy sent me something beautiful the other day :)
(Oops - aperture setting means that the quotation is too blurred to read!! It says: Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared. ~ Buddha)
And it was enclosed in this lovely envelope:
Many thanks, Amy :) Such a lovely surprise, it really lifted my day when it arrived, and has done ever since too because I've displayed the card and photograph on my mantelpiece where I can see it every day :)
I also received a birthday present from The Fabulous One when we finally managed to meet up to swap notes on our trips to America and India respectively. How gorgeous is the packaging?! Clair is so talented at this, I'm definitely in the 'quick, cheap and cheerful' camp when it comes to giftwrap but this is an object of beauty! It was ages before I could even open it, I had to admire (and photograph) it from every angle first!
Inside was a very pretty little compact mirror, brought back from India - and, of course, I unwrapped it very carefully so I also have some cute flowers and ribbons to use on a project - bonus!
Many thanks, Clair :) It's so very lovely, and lives in my handbag . And yes, the colours are definitely 'me'! :)
I have such lovely friends - just taking a moment to feel very blessed by them today xx
