(Yes, I know that's a dreadful pun. I seem to have been in a punny mood for this batch of scrapbooking, sorry!)
Echo Park For The Record papers, stickers and journaling cards, and Thickers (what else?!) for the title
While The Doctor and I queued in the blazing sun to get tickets for Los Angeles' Natural History Museum, The Children sheltered under a tree and played with the leaves. The Tomboy picked up 'The Largest Leaf In The World' (her words...) and used it as a fan, then a sunshade, then a visor for her hat! She looked like a cute little birdie with an oversized beak :)

Great LO. I had to pass on the PPP - just too much going on at the moment
That's a real 'Shimelle-y' layout! love the pretty papers you have used.
I've passed on PPP too, as I'm still cross with myself for not finishing LSNED!
Lol SO cute! I miss the Tomboy and your whole family!!
Great pic of the Tomboy....and the patterns all work so well together.
Cute layout - I was tempted by PPP but am very focused on finishing a few projects at the moment.
Very cute (even the pun) ;> I, too, passed on PPP so am looking forward to seeing you and others use their PP
Cute leaf and I'm loving that Echo Park paper :)
I couldn't resist the class, love the layout must get on and finish mine!
Our family has a habit of finding the 'Biggest In The World' in many areas....crisps...bubbles...icicles!!! So glad to know there are others out there...!!!! Gorgeous LO...I love EP 'For the Record' & Thickers make me weak at the knees, so it was always going to be a winner with me!!!! That photo is priceless too!! :) I'm afraid I passed on the PPP question too...I still haven't completed LSNED & haven't even started WIGU!!!! Maybe 2012 will be a better time-planned year!!! (Don't hold your breath!!) ;)
The Tomboy definitely had the right idea for keeping cool - and great use of materials at hand! Love the layout.
I am taking this class too - but not actually stuck anything down - this one is great. Am hoping this will help me scrap more of our US holiday photos.
What a cute photo!! (That is a huge leaf.) And a great layout from prompt 1. I created a card with scraps this morning & hoping to pull a few more together this afternoon before starting a layout.
Love that photo and yes a bird with an oversized beak was my thoughts too.
Really cute photo of the Tomboy and super layout. You are going to make me jealous that I avoided temptation and didn't sign up for this class.
