Endless Cups of Tea

Apart from the first cuppa of the day (that has to be tea!) I enjoyed drinking coffee through the day. Mysterious tummy pains that seemed to stop when I cut out coffee put paid to that habit, sadly. Now, instead, I find myself drinking:

Crate Paper papers and chipboard stickers, a mini doiley, and Thickers (naturally!)

This is a true story, sadly :( I don't know quite what was causing the tummy pains, but I often seemed to get them soon after a cup of coffee, and sure enough cutting out coffee did seem to improve matters greatly. Fortunately I do like drinking tea - even more fortunately, I still seem able to drink gingerbread lattes :) I think maybe there's enough milk to dilute the effect of the coffee? Whatever the reason, I'm thankful that I haven't lost that treat!

Love how all these patterned papers work so well together.....I'm always really nervous of using too many patterns.....especially as background.

I used to drink a lot of coffee, but went off it when I was pregnant. Thanks to you, I have discovered skinny GBLs at Costa ~ thanks! Lovely page.

gorgeous layout Mel! I love all the patterns and the split doily. Beyond endless cups of tea, do you also have an endless supply of Thickers? Because honestly, I think I'm a bit jealous of that title!

LOVE the layout, Mel!!! Your photo strip on it is great too.

I'm the same way with coffee. I was having a bunch of stomach issues and my doctor told me to cut out three things: coffee, chocolate and pepperment. (I gasped when he said chocolate!) Glad you are still able to enjoy your tea. :o)

I had to replace some of my cups of coffee for cups of tea when I started to develop IBS. I still prefer coffee, but tea isn't so unbearable anymore!

generally I think I get frightened by bright papers and working out how to combine them but I love your LO so much!
I gave up drinking caffeine a few years ago, well at least in coffee. I used to drink lotsa strong black coffee then started on milky coffees and now I am a real fussy coffee drinker no instant and it has to be de-caff! Like you I now drink lotsa tea as it is easier for other people as it just has to be black!

My brother is the same. I'm such a coffee addict - I'm feeling your pain!

Beautiful layout. Thank heavens for gingerbread latte! I hope that one day you get to the bottom of the coffee tummy pain

Love your choice of papers, and love your subject - that could be me, lol!

How strange! I started having unexplained tummy pains several years ago. The doctors couldn't get to the bottom of it, so I tried cutting things out. I switched to decaff and Redbush tea and it seemed to cure the problem, mostly. Lovely colours and patterns in your LO :O)
Thanks for your kind comments on my circle journal xx

Tea!

Love the papers here, they go so well, and especially like the doilly detail.

Plus, y'know tea. I'm sorry you can't have coffee, but the tea camp is always ready to embrace you :D

That's not pretty paper, it's gorgeous paper! I am a big tea drinker too, hot or cold, all year round. Never could get used to coffee, maybe that's a good thing.

Whats not too love - two of my favourite things - tea and pretty paper!

Coffee used to give me stomach pain too but I started drinking half coffee half milk, give or take, and that solved my problem. Good thing, since I don't like tea. :)

Love the page!

I've never had a cup of coffee, ever. Now, while you pick yourself up off the floor I will admit to having other beverages containing caffeine, funnily enough, I only started this after the second child was born ... I am better off without it though and predominantly I am a water drinker.

Great layout too!

The photo strip and the doilies are so effective for this layout! I know I could do without coffee, and after noon, I almost always drink tea. But I must admit, tea doesn't quite do it for me first thing in the morning. Glad you found a simple answer to the tummy pains, however. Those are the worst!

great page lovely lady! i cant wait to get making at the weekend!! caffeine can accelerate digestion and make your tummy hurt, tea is much gentler, you may find de-caff coffee is OK for you? peachy x

I love the layout. Both of us are like you with coffee. We don't even have it in the house for visitors. I keep saying you're only allowed so much coffee in your lifetime and guess we used ours up. :)
