10th October: At the staff meeting, our science coordinator demonstrated an activity with us that class teachers would be able to do with their classes the following day as part of Science Day at school. We had to find as many little strands of wool as we could in a given time, sticking them to a large sheet of paper to create a bar chart. The point of the exercise was to show how much easier it was to find the brightly coloured red, orange and yellow woolly strands than the green, brown and black ones :)

Hi Mel,
hope you're all well.
Love the idea about the coloured wool. Hope you won't mind if we pinch this idea for school as next half term we'll be looking at which colours show up best and that may be more fun than what we usually do and get them outside!

Hi to all
