Learn Something New Every Day

By the time this post goes live, we should be back in England, or very nearly so. Our plan is to spend a night or two with The Parents-In-Law to get over the worst of the jetlag, before heading back home to see what The Mother and The New Hamster have been up to! This means I'll be without internet for a couple of days and then extremely busy trying to do a month's worth of getting me and the kids ready for the new term within a day and a half. Ack.

I shall be keeping up with my notes of lessons learnt for this year's LSNED, but rather than do daily posts I shall probably do 'catch-ups' every few days or so. The first of these will be whenever I can get online again!! I'll be doing my project via Twitter this year, and making a note of each day's tweet in this cute little notebook:

It's about 2 inches wide by 2 1/2 tall, and 1/2 inch thick - it's dinky! :)

My tweets may be a bit belated too because of that lack of internet access, but I'll catch up when I can.

I'm also planning to do a version of the project from The Boy's point of view, as he starts his first term at secondary school. It'll be a way of finding out what he's doing each day, I guess.... For that, I'm aiming for a 6x6 album. Not sure how I'll keep up with it though! But I hope to finish it before Journal Your Christmas at least ;)

Looking forward to getting back into a regular routine of reading and commenting on your blogs. I'm woefully behind with so many of you! Hope all is well with all of you. Speak soon xx

Anyhoo...yes its LSNED time again & true to form I will be picking up where I left off last year!!!

I still have 'Explore' to complete & haven't even cracked open 'WIGU' yet!! Maybe I should keep it till New Year...as you so rightly point out 'JYC11' will be on us before we know it!!! :o

I have made mine in a A5 notebook this year. Welcome back to the UK and I hope the jet lag isn't too bad.

Considering my current scattered state, it should come as no surprise that my plans have changed again and I am indeed participating in LSNED ... safe travels Mel :-)

I hope you home safely and the jet lag doesn't take too much of a toll. Your tiny book is cute and I love the colors :)
