wow big rain and big spiders. i used to live in a house with all wooden floors and my landlady hated spiders. they would all start coming out in the evening and she'd start freaking out. i am however a happy friend of the spider so was able to save them from her stamping all over them, poor things,

Oh the 'glass & paper' technique! I do so hate it when I hear of people killing spiders - I don't care how much they hate them! We have had some beauties visiting us but we don't encourage them to stay long xx
I cannot tell you just how much trepidation was involved as I scrolled down!! I have been known to throw a amgazine across the room because I've turned a page to find a photo of a spider!!! But...I'm pleased to say the photo didn't appear!! Just a big white space!! So I was able to leave a comment without that expected shudder of revulsion!! Result!! :)

That was some rain you had! It always used to rain when I had to go and pick up the children, glad I don't have to do it anymore ;-) xx
DD would have freaked if that spider had been in our house!!
