Rainy Days

Another very quick post to share my latest list for this project:

All too appropriate for this week, sadly! Though today we've seen a bit of sunshine, and oh, that's been so lovely :)

Thanks again for your kind comments and messages, my friends are doing a little better in their difficult situations and my busyness is easing slightly, though I do still need to pack for our big trip.... I hope to get back to 'proper' blogging and blog-visiting once we've settled into our LA home. Can't wait to find out what you've all been up to! Hope all is well with you all xx

If I had a pound for everytime my husband has said 'but look how beautiful and green the garden is' I'd be a rich lady by now! Seems like our summers are in April/May nowadays, such a shame that we cannot sit outside and enjoy the long evenings at this time of year. hey ho, you won't be having this kind of weather where you are going!

Another great list...you must be getting VERY excited about your trip now! Glad to hear your 'busyness' is slowing down...you will be glad to get finished work next week, I know what a busy time the run-up to the end of the year is!

Good list - I love it! It's a pity that many little people nowadays don't get the opportunity to "Splash in Puddles". Someone told me that her little one was the only child she knew at the nursery, who was allowed to go out in the rain and splash. Sad really...
I'm not so into splashing in puddles nowadays - too lazy I suppose... I have wellies and a raincoat - perhaps I should go and borrow my baby niece, one rainy day, and splash a bit!
Meanwhile, I'll settle for curling up with a good book (on my Kindle perhaps!)
Good luck with the packing for your Trip. How exciting that it's coming up soon! I hope you have a wonderful time.
