Another quick post to share the rest of my pages from my MIMM art journal :)
So that's all the pages decorated now; next I need to pair them and stick them to create pockets, and write out my more in-depth journaling on cards to go inside the pockets. I'm so thrilled with this book though! I've had so much fun with all the different techniques for creating backgrounds, and even the ones that didn't quite work out as expected I've had fun experimenting with and have managed to rescue them!! This class has been *fabulous* :) Did you miss it? It isn't too late, you know! Kirsty still has it available till the end of July - you'll get the detailed and illustrated class manual, access to the video where she demonstrates the techniques, and a kit including the Moleskine itself, the printed prompts, tags, glassine envelopes and a couple of doilies. No, I'm not on commission! But I can whole-heartedly recommend this class, it's been soooo much fun :)
PS Sorry about the blurred out names. Were you looking to see if you were on the 'Friends' page?! If you were looking, then you probably are there xx

Despite the fact that you don't like Marmite (which is one of the measures that I judge people by :P)I'm hoping that I'm one of your blog friends because I love reading your blog! Looks like you had a lot of fun with the course - nice to dip your toes in a different way of doing things.
These pages are great - sounds like you have really enjoyed putting this together. I can imagine it will be great to look back at in years to come.
Lots of great random facts mixed in with bubble wrap and doilies and toilet roll textures! Love it!
your book is a fun but personal account of what is in your life now it will be great to look back on in a few years time... ps I love Marmite!!
I love all the backgrounds. And thanks for the class review.

Your church lychgate looks oh so familiar!!
Great story in six words too...although I find Ernest Hemingways offering slightly distressing!!!

Its coming along really well! I love the colour scheme on the hand and foot pages particularly as the fingerprints are nice and subtle and the bubblewrap print looks great.

Ah! There's the drawing of the foot you were talking about the other day. I love all of these pages - you're totally rocking the art journalling style. Perfection!
Oh. And yesterday I was telling my sister that conversation we had about you being allergic to nuts. You know? *That* conversation. Hilarious x
