16th July: We had a family day out :) We took a trip to Salford, did a bit of shopping, had lunch, visited The Lowry (which also had an Andy Warhol exhibition), wandered around the quay, popped into the Imperial War Museum, and then visited the BBC studios because we'd booked The Children in for a very special experience....

I have never been to Manchester so i would have enjoyed the day too.

I was intrigued..of course I had to click. Sounds very exciting. Was it scary? One of us refuses to watch because it's scary - and it's not me and it's not the kids...
