The new topic for the 52 lists project didn't appear till Monday, and then when it did I wasn't sure what (if anything) I could do with it - you see, it was a list of things learnt from my father and that isn't a straightforward one for me! But after I let the idea settle in my mind for a while, I produced this:
It may look like a blank page other than the title (and the 'splodges' that are actually shadows, not marks on the paper!!) but in fact I've written my list in white gel pen. It's almost impossible to read now, but that's how I want it! Once I'd filled the page I added the title over the top. I'm liking art journaling :)
PS Blogger was messing me around AGAIN yesterday :( I left lots of comments in a mammoth blog catch up but after some of them I got an error message and wasn't able to leave a comment at all :( Blogger it!!

Such a clever idea Mel!
great way to execute a hard subject
Writing thats there but not there, very metaphorical (or sumit like that).
Having seen the photos you put up not long ago I think Kai's room is very similar in size and shape to The Tomboys room. He tried sleeping underneath as well but got popped back into bed, much easier to do that with a 4yr old, lol
I would probably have to treat this list topic the same way! Great idea.
Oh, Mel, you are such a clever girl. I love this idea and may have to borrow it from you. Father's Day has come and gone and it's always a difficult one for me. I think putting something together like this would be great therapy. Thanks once again for inspiring me! xo
Absolutely, and top marks for privacy, ingenuity, and a complex treatment of the subject.
Congratulations for digging deep and finding what you wanted tojournal and a creative way to accomplish that while keeping it privare :) Don't know if it's the same issue but I found after weeks of blogger comment issue and some great guidance that if I uncheck "keep me signed in" at sign in I am allowed to comment to my heart's delight.
Such a very clever idea
Very subtle!!...& very clever too!!
p.s Blogger is being a pain in the bum for me at the moment too....but only on some blogs...WHY???!!!!
This would be a very tricky one for me too Mel. What an ingenious way to deal with it:)
How intriguing, and very clever. Love your 'scribble' effect handwriting.
Clever way to journal something you want to keep private!

Ah, this isn't the first super-sneaky white page you have done... I have memories of a very interesting and clever scrap page, with a semi-invisible picture.... must go and look for that post...
This is a clever way to deal with a tricky subject.
Very clever - only you will know and that might be exactly as it should remain
