Challenge accepted, Amy! A trivial story from something that happened within an hour of first reading your blog post, that I (digi) scrapped less than an hour after that :)
It's so true - I am rubbish without The Doctor! And I know it's pathetic..... But I don't sleep properly at all when he's away, and I don't eat very well either (I do manage to feed The Children OK, but somehow I don't manage to cook myself a proper meal while I'm cooking for them!) And so I did feel quite pleased with myself for actually managing to put together a decent meal of spaghetti bolognese on Thursday, even though The Doctor was still in London doing his research at Westminster Abbey - yay me!
He's back home now, hooray :) But meanwhile I have another everyday moment documented, which I'm chuffed about - I like including these 'tales of the here and now' in my albums, as they're the details that can change over time and be completely forgotten about. Thanks, Amy! xx

Now if I was like you I'd be losing weight at the moment ;-) Pity DH being away during the week doesn't affect me like that lol!
Mel, this is such a brilliant story - imagine The Doctor and yourself sitting back in twenty years time and looking through your albums and coming across this one!
Thanks for joining in :-)
I'm rubbish at cooking just for me as well...the trouble is I then tend to pick at things I really shouldn't be eating at all!!!!
Not pathetic - very sweet.
Like your digi page.
Well done, Mel! :o) I'm the same way when Doug is away and I'm just fending for myself. I like to keep it simple. xo
great story - I'm rubbish with food if left to my own devices and usually survive on toast - such a wonderful invention!
Fun layout and fun to document the little things. I don't eat nearly as well when Robbie's away either. Now that he's back at work, I have to focus on eating a good lunch by myself (or with friends) instead of scrapping the day away and eating junk! LOL
I used to have problems sleeping when Mr M worked shifts and he was on nights. I had to put extra pillows on the floor on his side of the bed because I would search for him and fall out of bed in my sleep! Fortunately night shift doesn't happen anymore.
Banana sandwiches are my staple when DH is away! Though tonight I managed a jacket potato :) I don't function well on my own, either:(

Yummy! I eat better when Marvin is away, I guess he's a bad influence Ha!
Lovely story - I normally cook myself steak and chips when himself is away!! How bad is that!!
I'm just rubbish at cooking, full stop. lol. Though if J isn't about I do sneak in a couple of lamb chops, which he really doesn't like and I love. Or fish, he's not keen on that either.
A good subject to scrap!
We all eat together, so I just end up with too much food if my husband isn't eating with us!
Great layout! I'm afraid we tend to eat out when Paul is gone.

Nice layout! I suck at supper when DH isn't around. I need to know there is another adult eating before I can make much effort since the boys just complain about everything except pizza & pasties.
