Imagine photo here

7th April: We had an Enterprise Week at school, with lots of exciting activities including Dragon's Den, a nature photography competition, and visits from various special guests. We're lucky enough to live near a very good orchestra, and the parents of one of our pupils (and friends of mine, as it happens!) play in it. They came to talk to the Year 3 class about how they got into music as a career, and what the work involves. The photo shows them performing a short piece - it also shows a few of the children, so I certainly can't show it here I'm afraid, but it will remind me of a lovely and very interesting morning :-)

Detail: Justice*

*Justice indeed - I appealed the penalty on the grounds that I HAD actually submitted my tax return on time!!

Justice has a funny quirk of never admitting it was wrong. I'd be wanting the apology letter that says "Hey Mel - guess what - you were right! Sorry we tried to fine you when we didn't have the right to."

Gosh ... justice can be such a tricky beast to convince sometimes.

Yes, it's funny how they still manage to end it with making out it WAS your fault and they are just being magnanimous!
