27th March: The clocks went forward. I like the lighter evenings that British Summer Time brings, but oh boy, I do NOT like losing an hour's sleep, and I do NOT like changing the 50 million clocks we seem to have in our house!!

Detail: Census

I forgot them this year so it is a good job my bedroom one alters automatically. I discovered yesterday I haven't altered my camera's clock, I invariably forget that one but not usually for so long.

and so many appliances have clocks on them. some of mine updated automatically and others not which adds to the confusion I think.

But I do love the lighter evenings

I do like the better light in the evenings though - the old eyes aren't what they used to be!

I feel the same way - it's nice to have it be lighter longer but it's such a rough transition. Give me an extra hour all day long, but take one away from me? Ugh. :)

I love the lighter evenings, but I agree that changing the actual clocks is a pain....it took me half an hour to remember how to do the one in the car!

Congress changed ours a few year ago making daylight savings time in the Stats even longer. We sprung forward about a month ago and ohhhhh how I love the late sunsets :) We won't fall back until late October.
