News

A few snippets, big and little.....
  • The Boy got into his first choice of secondary school :-) We're so pleased, as we're certain that it's the right school for him in terms of his academic needs and his personality - he should be happy there, and we're confident that he'll be encouraged, supported and challenged appropriately there. Now he's just waiting to hear where all his friends are going!
  • I can't believe there was an angle from which I didn't photograph my project, but hey, looks like I missed one of the little boxes! So I'm remedying that immediately ;-) When I opened the little calico bag this stunning little birdcage was sitting right on top - isn't it *gorgeous*?!

  • And, something very special is happening on Saturday, and I'm privileged to be involved :-) Check back here for more details then, but there is a big clue below:

And when I went to collect the above from the location I'd been given, I found to my delight that the building in question was just beautiful! Such an unexpected and lovely surprise! :-)

I have just spent a very happy & 'sigh-full' ever-such-a-long-time catching up with your last few posts!! Your account of your day with Tim & Co has turned me green with envy, not to mention the oohing & aaahing I've done over your amazing configurations box!! I would love to make up a Christmas one of those...I am inspired!!! As for your new nickname...watch out for my next blog post!! That is a stunning pic of the two of you in Rome...so nice to see your face without a camera in front of it....(there are a few of those in the last few posts....eh...steady on!!!)
Such good news about The Boy & school...you can now breathe a sigh of relief!! I am also very intrigued as to what you're to be involved in on Saturday!! I can only think it must be a book signing?!!...but why would you need to go anywhere...beautiful building or not...to collect so many books? Hmmmm?

I just bet you can't stop smiling! I'm so happy for you and know how relieved you must be. I hope he finds that he will know someone else who is going but even if he doesn't, he will soon make loads of new friends.
Am having serious birdcage envy over here ... I think that, like Denise, I really do NEED to find one for myself ;-)

it is indeed a lovely little bird cage.
Oh CASE histories I thought it said CARE now that has got me intrigued

My reason for removing the comment I originally made is that one little word wrong and the whole thing means something else *silly grin*
