Meeting Sian

It was a little while ago now that I actually met the lovely Sian and her equally lovely family, but yesterday I *finally* managed to scrap about the occasion!

It seemed rather appropriate to use some goodies from a gorgeous Gotta Craft kit, since Sian is on their design team! Love these Crate papers so much....

Let's pretend not to notice that I'd run out of 's's, 'a's and 'n's in this alpha sticker set, shall we?! ;-) A bit of trimming and turning and an '8', '4' and 'u' did the job!!

Yep, it was about time those photos got onto a page :-) Must next turn my attention to the photos of my meet-up with the lovely Ruth....

Um, Wow! And wow! again! Thank you - I don't think anyone has ever made a page with me on it like that before.

It has cheered me up a lot because I've been fighting with blogger all day - it won't let me upload photos and so there will be no post from me today.

I love that this looks like a page that Sian might have made! Were you consciously working in her style, I wonder?

I like the way you have used the orange paper to tone with your hair colour.

Thats a fun thing to scrap about, meeting up with friends.

Such a great page! I had the chance to meet up with some bloggers last night - going to have to make a scrapbook page out of that too! :)

What a lovely page, and a great way to remember the first time you met Sian - as I suspect that it may not be the last!
Brilliant improvisation on the letters, we'd never have guessed if you hadn't told us ;-)

Fab page - and funkily appropriate!
Well done on coping with missing letters - I once made an "S" out of a "&" - slightly weird but it worked - must remember the "8" trick!

Mel that is such a pretty layout and what a wonderful memory for you both. I love that Crate paper. I wanted to tell you the comment you left today on my blog made me laugh because as I was making the Triptych I was thinking "I wonder if Mel has these dies?" Did you see Edmonton on his blog the other week? Mario was wearing shorts and it was -20C :)

Gorgeous LO! I was racking my scrappy brain for where those funky letters were from lol. I wouldn't have been able to tell that they were altered if you hadn't mentioned it :)
