Ooh exciting, now you can start the planning :) xx

My advice is to head to the coast ~ Santa Monica is gorgeous, or up along the PCH. We found LA to be completely characterless and nobody walks anywhere ~ very strange!

I'm so excited for you guys, Mel. I agree with Ruth about LA - you really need to venture out a little further. Traveling up the coast is a great idea!!! And surely you will go to Disneyland...right? Universal Studios would be a good tour to take too...I'll be thinking of some other travel tips for you as well. :o)!!!

Ruth's right...Santa Monica is one of my favourite places and up PCH to Santa Barbara is a good trip. \The only thing I liked about LA itself was the 'angel' statues.Disneyland and Universal Studios are great days out too.....I'm getting excited for you, just thinking about it!!
