4th March: A Skype conversation with Deb and Amy, how special was that? :-) Amy managed to get a much better photo than I did, but I do like that I got all the cameras in shot!
I love Skype! It was great last year, when DH was working in Sweden from January to October and was often away for 2 weeks at a time. We could talk to him every evening, before DS went to bed. It was great! I'd love to link up with some blog friends too. We need to plan a meet-up for local pals, but Skype is the next-best-thing for those who live too far away. So glad you got to speak to each other - lovely idea!
...is what I speak. It describes what I actually say (nonsense, mostly) and how I say it (ie my accent, which is a mixture of all sorts - a bit of North of England, a bit of Irish, a bit of South West England, a lot of just me!) The word comes from my name, Mel, and the fact that I'm one-quarter Welsh. But there's not actually any Welsh in my accent. Go figure...

That looks like fun! DH & I always mean to Skype when he is out of town but we're too old school. We call on land lines.
