I've done some more playing with inchies. This is a simple design but I love how it looks when I pop it behind a little frame which I've smeared with white acrylic paint:
I think I might find a way to hang the frame somewhere and change the miniature artwork now and then :-)
I also had a play with my alcohol inks, some watch parts, an old key, a scrap of stamped acetate and some Glossy Accents. It's a tricky one to photograph but this should give you an idea (the stamp says 'Art and Soul', by the way):
And more alcohol inks on scraps of mountboard with an eyelet and a stamped scrap of shrink plastic (it says 'Unique Art'):
Then I tried putting four Stampbord inchies together to accommodate a larger stamp. They were alcohol inked first, using the same felt so the colour gradually decreases in intensity:
I turned that set of four into a card. Excuse the dappled light in this pic, but I'm not going to wish away the sunshine, it's lovely to see it!
I also put together a couple more cards using very simple inked and stamped inchies - here's one of them:

I had an urge to make Malteser cake yesterday :-) I decided to try making individual portions, just to see how they might work. They're a bit fiddlier, but I reckon they could be worth it for someone special ;-)

And finally, I'm not sure if I've mentioned this at all, but I managed to get a ticket for a Tim Holtz workshop!! And it's TOMORROW!! I've been gathering together everything I need to take since September lol but now the bag is properly and fully packed, and I'm ready to set off in a little while :-) I'm just a little bit excited......
Can't wait to tell you all about it when I get back, but don't expect to hear from me till Saturday evening, because I'm staying with a dear friend tomorrow night and travelling home on Saturday. But expect to be hearing full details just as soon as I possibly can!
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHH!!!!
(Excited. Just a little bit. Not so you'd notice though, right?!)
