Dear old blogger eh?
Denise over at Den's Crafty Diary had a problem with it recently where after a certain amount of characters it would automatically jump back and start inserting the new text mid way between what she had typed previously! So a few missing letters is nothing to worry about!
How peculiar, hope you get it sorted soon, otherwise we are in for some entertaining posts!

I will say that just as Deb14 has said, my keyboard did the same thing - jump back and start typing where I'd already typed in mid sentence .. and this was before I dropped the thing of beauty. Its done it's once since, but touch wood it's ok now. Hope your machine sorts itself out soon

Thank you :-)

But - Deb - are you suggesting that my posts aren't usually entertaining???

(Apologies to those of you who got odd-looking comments from me today, as it looks like Blogger is taking a hate to those particular letters on and off in comments as well as posts!)

Curiouser and curiouser

So what exactly have you done to upset Mr Blogger??????

:o) Amazing how the letters you want to use are the ones that are messed up, eh? But isn't that the way it is with life sometimes.

I spilled coffee on my keyboard about a month ago (actually, it was my cat's fault) and the tab key hasn't been the same since. It's really sticky, and sometimes will stick in the down position causing my curser to jump all over the place. Hope you get it remedied soon! xo

Come now Deb, we all know that cats don't drink coffee..... Trying to blame the poor, innocent cat indeed! ;-)

Only you could make a highly amusing post out of a frustrating technical hitch!!!!

BTW I highly recommend Live Writer for pain free blogging!!!

Spooky! But still strangely readable - must be the way my brain works!

Lovely that's priceless made me giggle anyway. I love all your comments too and Yes JJ I could read it with relative ease too. :D

This is too funny! Frustrating I'm sure for you but funny on our end. Why couldn't it be the "z" or "x" that were having the issues? xx

This is a new one to me. But my husband's advice is always the same when there's a computer problem: restart! Most of the time it works. Of course, if it's Blogger, it's out of your hands.

oh that may have been too much for my first blog ready of the morning lol Seriously hope you and Blogger are back on perfect working terms quickly!

Ah the joy of Blogger, eh?! I had the same problems as Denise... the latest episode was yesterday in fact. No interesting issues with keys not typing though...
I see from your more recent post, that it's sorted itself out now.
Most mysterious!
Still, it was a fun post to Read, even if a pain to Type.

What's most amazing is that most of us didn't need the translation paragraph because our minds automatically fill in the blanks. I used to teach a lesson on that (when I was still teaching Business Communication courses) and the students were always amazed at how much they could read and understand even when letters were missing.

Oh that sucks. Usually Blogger just decides to not give me a comment box on every single blog I visit when it feels like messing with me.

I live with a Director of Network Operations, he runs the tech support dept. I have to start every computer problem related conversation with "I have turned it off and on again" or that is all the help he will give me. Then I have to follow it up with "and then I disconnected and reconnected the cables"

Most of the time I am lying when I say those things.

I normally find that when a key or two aren't working it's because something little has crept underneath - like punched out paper circles or seed beads. On a laptop, you can lift the keys and check :)

That's so bizarre!

Sometimes things just get a mind of their own, don't they? I hope all is fine now!! :)
