4 things

This meme first appeared over at Chunkychooky, and I've seen it popping up on quite a few blogs since - here are my answers:

4 things that I always carry

1. Mobile phone - I hate being uncontactable
2. Keys - well, OK, a couple of times I've forgotten to carry them...
3. Camera - for Project 365 pics and any other moments that catch my attention
4. There's nothing else that I *always* carry, but I've usually got my handbag with me, too

4 things that are in my bedroom

1. A bookcase - there aren't many rooms in my house that *don't* have a bookcase!
2. A pile of clean, dry and neatly folded washing that hasn't yet been put away
3. A decorated canvas of our wedding
4. A box of toys that need to be sorted then sold or given away

4 things that I would like to do but haven’t done yet

1. Visit America
2. Visit Australia
3. Take a photography class (in person rather than online)
4. Meet Tim Holtz (well now, there's a thing....)

4 things that you don’t know about me (depending on who you are, reading this, obviously!)

1. I'm very messy. I'm rubbish at keeping things tidy and at putting away after myself
2. Despite this, I'm actually very organised most of the time
3. I'm like Jack Sprat - I can't stand eating fat and cut it off whatever meat I'm eating
4. I've never read War and Peace, but I've read Lord of the Rings at least four times

4 things I often wonder

1. What shall I cook for dinner?
2. Will The Girl ever stop having temper tantrums?
3. Will The Doctor be home soon?
4. Will anyone comment on this post?

you hide the messy well - one thing I admire about your 365 photos is how clean they are - focussed and with nothing distracting behind the focus object. It must be diligent staging!!

We have bookshelves in practically every room of the house also, and I'm right there with you already wondering what I'm going to fix for dinner tonight!

I'd be surprised if you had a post without comments ;) I love a clean, straight house but too often let the other people around here defeat it plus we just flat out have too much stuff.

LOL ... oh course we'll comment on your post :) Lovely to get to know more about you x

Wonder no more about the comments,Mel!!!!
Wondering about dinner....almost every day for me.

I'd rather have a messy home than a 'showroom' house any day. A little mess shows that someone actually lives there. I'm a member of the messy club too ;-)
What to have for dinner, that's something that I wonder about too yet if I ask for suggestions I always get the answer "I don't mind, any thing will do" I need to look further into the recipe jar idea!

It was fun getting to know you a little more through this meme. Have a great day and don't worry about dinner, somehow it always gets on the table. xx

I wonder about dinner on a daily basis - I'm getting a little better at some planning ... but I have such a long way to go!

Some definite similarities here - I always carry keys, cell phone, sunglasses and calendar (all in my hand bag).
Love the wondering about the girl & temper tantrums. . . I think their style just changes the older they get.

I've skimmed War and Peace - read the Peace, skipped through the war. But I didn't much like Lord of the Rings either

I only read War & Peace because I had to pass the stupid lit class to get my degree. :) There are bookcases in every room in my house, even the bathrooms & the utility room.

The answer to your last remark is OF COURSE WE WILL
as for the rest so many of those I can identify with might have a little go myself thanks Mel for always having an entertaining Blog that is a pleasure to visit.

Hold on about the messy, you're the person who ALREADY KNEW about storing duvet covers in their matching pillow-cases; that's only one rung below Martha Stewart.

Great answers! :)
It's a great way to find out more about the people behind the blogs we like to read.

Fun list, Mel. I was particularly happy to see that one of the things you'd like to do is to visit America (and Australia too!). :o)
