4th January: The Children went back to school. I really liked a photo like this that I took last year, so tried to replicate it - I think last year's worked better, though! (Look at the state of those shoes.....)
I'm going to make a "curious about numbers" comment - and it's not often that happens lol. Wouldn't it have been neat if the saving and the total had both had exactly the same digits
Isn't it great how the "You Saved" is printed in "gigantic" while the actual amount is itty bitty? I get a kick out of that on my grocery receipts every stinking time... :)
...is what I speak. It describes what I actually say (nonsense, mostly) and how I say it (ie my accent, which is a mixture of all sorts - a bit of North of England, a bit of Irish, a bit of South West England, a lot of just me!) The word comes from my name, Mel, and the fact that I'm one-quarter Welsh. But there's not actually any Welsh in my accent. Go figure...

love the depth of field Mel and yes I think most Mums will recognise those shoes :))
I like the shoe pics, at the moment mine won't stay still enough to have their feet photographed! :)
