3rd January: We took all the Christmas decorations down and packed them up to go away in the attic. Till next year!

It is funny seeing such a low number on the 365 again!
Well done on capturing the steam rising from your soup! :-)

My husband must NEVER know that you were able to get everything in 2 boxes and one bag - ours take several trips up to the loft ;-)
I agree with Amy, how clever to get the steam rising from the soup without misting up the lens on your camera!

Oh no, our Christmas decorations etc would never fit in one small box and a carrier bag! We have two large, cardboard "Packing crate" sized house-moving boxes, filled with tree decorations, Christmas stockings, the Crib set, Christmas story books, decorations for the mantle-piece, tables, window sills etc, nest of 3 cake tins, angel chimes, snow-globe, a "Santas" collection, 3 pottery "village" houses that hold tea-lights, table cloths, table mats, wine glass charms, maybe left-over table crackers... oh, I'm sure there's so much more!! We re-packed it last year, from 3 boxes, down to 2. This year we managed to reduce it a bit more and fit the books in one of the boxes, but still couldn't fit in the little hanging latern decorations for the dining room - they are packed in an acetate tube that's too tall for the boxes.
Three large boxes (including the Tree), one carrier bag and much muttering under the breath later...
Cup of tea, anyone?
