11th November. Remembrance Day, the day of 'the call' (Ofsted giving us our 2 working days' notice of their visit) but also one of our regular Art Days at school. They're not often on the days that I work, so I was thrilled that this one was, not least because it was using the links between Maths and art! I made tangram pictures with one of my classes :-)
The Doctor and I went out with friends that evening, a last minute arrangement - the food was fabulous (Spanish tapas style) and we had a lovely evening, though at least half my mind was on the Ofsted visit....

Hope all goes well with OFSTED, my DD is a teacher & says they're a pain in the....!!
I love your tangrams, what a fun idea, might 'steal' that for rainy days when the DGSs are here - if I may?.
Sorry I missed the post about you being unwell, hope you're well on the road to recovery now & thank you for popping over my way earlier:)
Hope you're feeling better and that Ofsted is not swamping everything. (I've never had Ofsted - yet. I was training when they came to one school and everything went into insane overdrive.)
Also, I have a cheeky favour - I remember some time ago you had a recipe for rocky road that used ginger biscuits and at the time I thought "Yum, what a perfect naughty Christmas recipe!". But I can't find the place where I saved the link!!!!
Noooooo!
Any ideas? Unless it wasn't your blog. But I hope it was!
Hmmm, tapas - YUM!!!
I remember doing tangrams at school as well....but never realised I was being artistic!!!
Oooh, tapas. Drool....
What a good looking assortment of food!
The tapas looks very yummy :)
Oooh for tapas from me too :)
