I can't comment on the football team ... but, here in Australia we get the BBC radio sports reader reading out the results in a monotone voice, it is quite funny.
Risotto sounds delish, must remember next time I make it to add some bacon. Very manly mug for you there and I noticed the difference in the sizes made me smile :-)
...is what I speak. It describes what I actually say (nonsense, mostly) and how I say it (ie my accent, which is a mixture of all sorts - a bit of North of England, a bit of Irish, a bit of South West England, a lot of just me!) The word comes from my name, Mel, and the fact that I'm one-quarter Welsh. But there's not actually any Welsh in my accent. Go figure...

And I'm liking that hedgehog! Seems to be glancing sideways at The Big Mug with a knowing look - what team does Hedgie support? :)
Lovely risotto - it's a big favourite here
Risotto is always a favourite meal of mine ... but being vegos, we tend to go for a 'pea and parmesan' version - it's delicious :)
I love your mug photo too! :D
That risotto looks very yummy - I must make it again soon! :)
I really like the look of your risotto, thanks for adding it to your recipe blog :) xx
