Weekly Wordle: 42 of 52

Hang on - if this is 42 of 52, there are only 10 weeks left of this year!! Scary!!

Interesting to see how words like brutal, badly, ripped, finger, savage, inflicted injuries, ferocious cleaner and such like have grouped themselves around the word vacuum.... I was also pleased to see 20:10 and 20/10/2010 featured :-)

And I just wanted to share a quick photo from yesterday:

I was due at a friend's house at about 8 o'clock last night, but was running slightly late. As I parked the car I realised the clock on the dashboard showed the full date and was also set for 24-hour clock, and that it was showing 20:06 - so I sat in the car for the extra 4 minutes, waiting for this shot! I did of course apologise profusely to my friend for being late, but when I explained why she just *sigh*ed and accepted it as a very Melsh thing to do....

This is my post for the 21st day of Blogtoberfest - 21 days and still on track!

That's a cool shot of the car clock ~ I'm not surprised that you sat and waited for it!

I do hope you're not the 'vicious couple' refered to!!

I would have sat in the car, too! Very cool.

Yay, maths approval!

I once parked the car at home and realised the mileometer read 012344...so I drove around the block until it ticked over so I could get the photo.

Actually the full story is longer than this and involved the torment of a fellow mathsy friend, but you've given me an awesome idea for a page!

Another vote for 'wait in the car for the photo'!

A very Melsh thing to do indeed and your inner math geek must have been exultant. But I would have done the same thing and I hate math. So go figure. I wanted to take a photo of my odometer when my car turned 100,000 miles. But DH was taking my car when I knew it would happen - so I gave him the camera and instructed him to get it for me!
