Talented friends and truly amazingly gorgeous gifts

And so we reach the end of September! And however much I might be 'behind' in my paper and digi projects, I'm all up to date with my blog posts, so I have my permanent record of all that I've learnt, noticed and observed over the month. Whatever happens with the pages, I have a complete blog project that I'm so happy with - and it's such a snapshot of our lives right now :-) (Having said that, I do also hope and expect to share more pages with you all soon!)

OK, so let's see what 30th September taught me:
  • Knowing that someone is getting a lot of pleasure from a gift I've given, more than repays me (if any repayment were needed!)
  • Bother, The Boy was supposed to bring in his tenor horn today
  • A quiet time reading my Bible first thing in the morning really does help me through my day
  • Staying positive really does help too!
  • The matching up of tutors to tutees and sorting out a timetable for all the 1:1 tuition is like doing a big 3D puzzle....
  • The content of the video about puberty that Year 6 will be watching next week
  • Oops, I've cooked too much rice
  • My birthday present from Clair is gorgeous!! Oh my gosh, I love it!!

  • Clair is one very talented lady - and my beautiful necklace is just one example of that :-)

  • It is such a joy to spend time with a good friend, chatting, crafting (or sorting craft supplies! That counts, right?!) and eating cake :-)

And we're done :-) Except that I may jot down a few 'closing thoughts' - plus of course I have lots of photos that may make their way onto pages! And if they do, I'll be sure to share them with you :-) Thanks for sharing the journey with me through these posts xx

Today is also the first day of Blogtoberfest. I don't plan to do anything 'special' for it, but I shall post my Project 365 photos, my Wordles, and any pages I manage to put together, including a few things MeTAV related - possibly a tutorial or two, and who knows? Maybe a giveaway.... But having felt a bit overwhelmed by a very busy few days, and still struggling a bit with extreme tiredness, I'm not going to make things more difficult for myself than I need to. That's the current plan, at least ;-) Watch this space to see what actually happens!!

What a lovely list of lessons learned Mel =-) It's clear that you are blessed with some talented friends after seeing that beautiful necklace - I'm sure your friend Clair is getting just as much from giving you her gift as you have when you give your gifts to friends!

Love the necklace :o) and have enjoyed reading your LSNED posts. I know what you mean about keeping things simple - I'm going to take things a day at a time at the moment and if something gets done - great! but if not I won't stress about it. Too much going on just now :o) xx
