Church on 17th October. I've been meaning to photograph these unusual water vents along the side of the church hall for ages!

And oh, what am I supposed to do when Asda has an offer on Ben & Jerry's ice cream: £4.79 each, or two for £3?! This is the Half-Baked flavour (part chocolate chip cookie dough, part chocolate fudge brownie....)

What are you supposed to do? Empty your freezer of everything else and fill it up with ice cream ;-)
Love the picture of the water vents, it's not often you see a modern gargoyle!

I know what you mean, Craig feels exactly the same and we regularly make trips to the supermarket for him ;o)
Not sure what I think of the water vents - they remind me of little girls :os xx

Fab photo Humel.

I so wish I could eat dairy ice-cream when it's on that sort of offer. I've let my sister know as they love Ben & Jerry's, but not when it's nearly £5 a tub!!

Oh, this is a really cool picture. I had an opportunity to travel to Italy about 20 years ago and one of the things I was fascinated with was their drainage system. At The Forum in Rome among all those awesome ruins there were faces everywhere that were drain vents similar to those in your photo. And the best luck of all was that it was raining that day so we got to see them in action. One of my coolest memories...thanks for rekindling it! :o)

And MMMMMM, Ben and Jerry's!! Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough is my favourite. Half-baked is second. :D

Oh wow!!! Those church vents are awesome! Would you be willing to send me a jpeg so I can print them out and use in my collage work?
They just really call to me!
