8th October was Jeans for Genes day (at our school, anyway - officially it already happened on 1st October, but as that was our Harvest Festival we deferred Jeans for Genes!) I sent in a couple of dozen cookies for The Boy's class to sell; they were based on this recipe with chocolate chips added to one batch, and cocoa powder and white chocolate chunks added to the other. They turned out really well :-)

That night we were all shattered so we had Chinese takeaway for dinner:

Thanks for your comment on the biscuits. I'm on a personal mission now to figure out how to show/describe what an American "biscuit" looks like on my blog. Maybe I should have done biscuits and gravy for my Let's Eat blog hop project! :o)
