I took the car in for a service on 11th September - after many years of having older cars fail their MOT, it was great to not even worry about an MOT with this one!
The recipe jar told me to try oriental salmon with noodles for dinner. It was nice and I may make it again, but I'm not sure I'm ready to add it to my
recipe blog yet.

The salmon dish sounds interesting - we normally BBQ it or bake it ... this is different for us.
I think it is such a sign of reaching 'grown-up hood' when you have cars that are not constantly breaking down or needing work ;-)
Isn't it a great feeling when everything runs smoothly!
Yay! for smooth running cars :).
The salmon dish sounds different, will be interested to see if it gets added to your recipe blog at a later stage :). xx
It certainly looks tasty
I love what Amy has to say about grown up cars lol
Now you've made me fancy that salmon - it looks really nice :-)and it certainly is nice when all is running smoothly x
Here's my American ignorance showing. What's an MOT?
I can't believe how fast the year has gone! Already 254 day have past and I'm still having a hard time writing 2010 without having to think about it.
Glad your car passed with flying colours! Always a wey-hey moment! (not that it often happens to mine, I hasten to add ...)
lol Amy! I don't think I'm all that grown up yet though.... ;-)
Linda, the MOT is an annual test that cars must go through to check roadworthiness. Cars less than 3 years old don't need the test, though, and our new car is only 2 - first time we've ever had such a new car! MOT stands for Ministry of Transport :-)
