On 28th August I visited the lovely Clair and we had a go at crochet together :-) I was so please to get a fairly even chain of stitches on my first attempt! Next step will be to try adding another row....

For lunch that day I'd had scrambled eggs on toast. I used to make my scrambled eggs quite dry and didn't realise I was doing it wrong till I saw a photo of some on a cookery page once - they looked much softer and with more liquid in them - so next time I cooked them over a very low heat till they appeared the same consistency as the picture, and they tasted so much better that way! We've never looked back lol!

Yay for learning new crafts :o), I used to crochet a lot when I was much younger but tend to stick to knitting now.
Scrambled eggs on toast may just end up being my lunch today - yours look yummy! xx

I'm still looking at my crochet instruction book on the shelf and wondering about starting - now I see someone else having a go, I'm feeling a bit more inspired.

***TYPO ALERT*** shouldn't that be August 28..not September 28? Unless of course you learned how to time travel too LOL!!!!

I'm playing catch-up on your last few posts...phew!! Fabulously neat crochet...I love scrambled eggs, but I prefer them solid & sliceable!!

Great new haircut! I love that whole head massage thing too...so relaxing if done properly!

Congrats on being featured in Shimelles post...great page & well deseved mention!

I see crocheted embellishments in your future. I don't think I even know anyone who could teach me how to do this. Tracy's grandmother knew how, but I wasn't interested back then.

brings back memories of my youth, when we crocheted chains and turned them into bracelets....

Oops - well spotted, Elizabeth and Sandi, thank you! I get myself in a tangle sometimes what with posting the photos over a week later than they happened..... Fixed now, thanks again xx
