August 25th was, sadly, dominated by housework :-(
And for lunch I tried something new from the local Co-op - sprouted beans - but they were not a success for me!! I had to spit out the first mouthful and the rest went straight into the bin!
I think maybe a mix of sprouted & unsprouted might have been better. I like the occasional sprouted bean in my meal, like sprouted edamame or chickpeas. But not a whole salad of them
...is what I speak. It describes what I actually say (nonsense, mostly) and how I say it (ie my accent, which is a mixture of all sorts - a bit of North of England, a bit of Irish, a bit of South West England, a lot of just me!) The word comes from my name, Mel, and the fact that I'm one-quarter Welsh. But there's not actually any Welsh in my accent. Go figure...

You need a strong flavoured dressing and some softer elements for sprouted beans to work - they are far too organic otherwise ;-)!
Housework? The dreaded evil ;-)
Ok, we'll miss the first part of the post and just confirm that those beans would have ended up in the bin here too! x
At least you tried! It's more than I ever have.
I am feeling your pain. The beans look awful but as Sian said..well done for trying!
They are much better in a salad.
The beans look lovely in your photograph.. but I know I'd hate them too!
