Three Things Friday

Or, as The Girl would say, 'Free Fings Friday' - but I didn't entitle the post that way as I didn't want to raise your hopes and then dash them when you found no freebies, just my usual witterings!

Thing One:

Jill asked what plans I had for my Project 365 photos. I'm not sure I can fully answer that question yet, but at the moment my intention is to have them printed as a photobook - I've used both Photobox and Snapfish for books of holiday photos, and have been pleased with how they turned out. My idea would be to have a short caption for each photo with details of what it represents, with those details being taken from my blog posts. If the standard layouts available for the photobooks don't 'fit' the number of photos and captions I have in mind then I shall create a simple template in PSE, save the whole page as an image and upload that to the book. I may change my mind by the end of the year though!

Thing Two:

Another little project inspired by Ally's tutorial - this time a t-shirt:

(You know me and self-portraits - oh, the angst involved in getting these shots!! I did try taking a photo of the t-shirt laid out on the sofa but it just didn't 'sit' right :-( I eventually got these pics that just about show how the t-shirt looks...)

Owly's sitting on branch made from woodgrain ribbon. Love his ear-tufts :-) Then I used the other end of the tie to add a bit of detail to the hem of the shirt.

Thing Three:

Saw this in the newspaper:

Have a great weekend everybody :-)

It looks great Mel.
You are really getting full use of that tie! Great to see.
Here's another example of the owl on a t-shirt.

Thanks again for testing my tutorial.
