On August 7th, after a rather early start, we set off on our journey to..... Italy! (Well done to those of you who guessed correctly!) In the background of this shot you can just see Lake Garda; we stayed at Peshiera, on the south-east shore of the lake. Lots more details and photos to follow!
We always take Polo mints on flights, so we can suck them during take-off and landing to help reduce that uncomfortable pressure you get in your ears.

The Italian lakes is an area I've still to visit; I'm thinking it'll be perfect in a few years time, when DS is older and able to appreciate his surroundings more. Can't wait to see your photos. x

We went to Lake Maggiore last year, so will be interested to see more photos so that I can see how different Garda is. I'm sure it was fabulous ... can't wait for more photos - hurry, hurry!!
I agree, that's a great shot from the plane. It's not easy to get such a detailed shot. Can't wait to see more.
