On August 4th I tackled Mount Washmore. Base camp had been achieved the previous day but I was determined to conquer its peaks. (I did, but a new peak soon rose needing to be conquered in its turn. I hate
housework, you work so hard getting everything neat and tidy and 6 months later you need to do it all over again....)

It never ceases to amaze me that the wash pile is never finished for more than a day! I end up with a number of Mount Washmores each week! As for the ironing, we won't talk about it at the moment ;o) x
Wow Mel....as often as every 6 months!!
I have no problem washing the clothes. It's folding them and putting them away that loses me. I just keep everything in my laundry basket.
Without a doubt the best part of a renovation is the significantly reduced need to clean ones house :-) Don't ask me the last time I mopped a floor - it is a futile task! In my defence, there is a lot of sweeping and vacuuming.
do I detect a 'FlyLady' follower? or is Mount Washmore used more widely than her?
my washing pile is ready for today's wash. did housework yesterday but there are already cat fur lumps on the rug, ooooooohhh :-((
Jo xxxx
Mount washmore? It's like painting the Forth Bridge round here lol
Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!! reminds me of Queen Victoria....I bathe once a year, whether I need it or not!!! I have no problem keeping up with the washing....it's ironing it that's my weak spot!!
my attempts to wash clothes seem to be diverted by people dirtying all the towels or bedsheets by dragging them outside to build forts
