I love our local library :-) Over the summer they put on lots of different activities (many of them free), including story time, crafts, treasure hunts, etc, and we always do the summer reading challenge too. On July 29th they'd invited someone to bring along various animals! We met a giant snail called Shelly, a Madagascan hissing cockroach known as Jarvis, Tracy the tarantula, and here you see Sybil the corn snake. The Children had a fabulous time :-)

We'd been to Asda that morning, and while there, this little pot of Ben & Jerry's cookie dough ice cream just jumped into the trolley. What's a girl to do?!

libraries have changed so much - for the better. Love the idea of animals at the library instead of just shhhhh!

Great snake! We saw some fab creatures last week, at the Dinosaur park (near Norwich/Fakenham, Norfolk). But we didn't get to touch any...
As for the ice cream - what a Girl is supposed to do is... Eat It! Which I really hope you did?
