Loafing about

The Children broke up from school yesterday. Today we got The Girl's hair cut and made an appointment at the dentist for The Boy, visited the library to sign up to the summer reading challenge, and just had some down-time at home.

And The Girl decided to help me with a digital layout.

First I had a go at creating a template based on a layout in today's LYPLYP prompt, then The Girl 'helped' me to choose the papers to go with my photos of yesterday's banana loaf baking session.

This layout doesn't look as it would have done if I'd made it all by myself, but I rather like it, and it kept The Girl out of trouble for a while!

Looks yummy. Our bananas never last long enough to be turned in banana loaf.

What a team! It's great that she likes to share your scrapbooking with you. How about letting her do a whole page of her own?
We don't break up until tomorrow but I'm counting the hours .......

I really like this one Mel - I might have a go at making a template too! Well done for TG .... you know, she could be a budding scrapper these holidays :-)
Oh, I just read Deb's comment ... yes, I wonder if she'd make a page of her own?

It's a lovely page. It would be interesting to set her the challenge of using the same material as you and finding out how different the two pages actually are.e

The layout is lovely. Banana bread is a favorite here, but now we just have zucchini bread since the garden has been so productive. I think it's great that you daughter is interested in the scrapbooking!
