Still on that learning curve :-) I've seen a few people talking about using 'actions' on their photos, and in particular talking about actions by the Pioneer Woman, but I didn't really understand what it was all about. Then yesterday I downloaded and installed them and tried them out for myself. Ah, I begin to understand now....
I used my favourite photo from yesterday:
and ran the different actions to see what I got! Want to see? :-)
Um. OK. It's not so easy to see the differences in this small size, but it was either that or have an *extremely* photo heavy post! But this gives you an idea (if you didn't already know) just how much you can do with these fab, FREE actions :-) I'm a convert! And thanks to everyone who kept talking about them until I just *had* to go investigate for myself... x

Be warned - this is addicting! You'll find yourself spending hours on end editing photos to see what you can come up with now!

Yay Mel! I so excited that you tried actions and liked them!!!
Actions are awesome!
I really do have to get Photoshop installed...I feel I'm missing out!!! Great collage which really shows the different actions & how they compare!
I'm an avid actions user. The bonus is the time it saves with workflow! Love the comparison image. Check out Rita's actions at the CoffeeShop too :)
Good for you Mel! I think 2011 is the year for me to meet Photoshop.
