On July 12th the Year 6 class had the dress rehearsal of their end of year production, Hoodwinked. It was great, they all did so well - I laughed and cried! This is one of the props (with the face of 'Robin' blurred).
It was also The Boy's last ever Cub meeting, as he goes up to Scouts in September. All of us were invited to a family picnic. Luckily the rain held off! Some final badges were awarded, and The Boy received a couple of challenge badges and - the highest award a Cub can achieve - the Chief Scout's Silver Award. His involvement in the activities and the badges he'd earnt also contributed towards his six winning 'Six of the Year', for which they were all awarded a special trophy. Yay The Boy!! :-) And then we had the picnic: I had a salad of tomatoes, mozzarella balls and spinach, with a chicken wrap.
