On July 8th we had a meeting of Sunday Club leaders, mainly to officially hand over to the new co-ordinators. The rector and his wife had got us a couple of gifts to thank us for doing the job for 3 years - a beautiful plant and some gorgeous homemade fudge :-) Just one more session to lead and the end of term party and our tenure is over!

Earlier that day I'd been to Asda and stocked up on lots of fresh fruit (amongst other things!) As part of my lunch after the shopping trip I had some blueberries:

Home made fudge, I haven't made any in years, may just have to see if I still have the recipe :)

Your rector is streets ahead of that curate you mentioned. I'm glad your churchpersons are shaping up. And I pride myself on making the best fudge in Europe - would you courier me a piece of that likely-looking batch there for important taste tests to ensure that I'm still wearing the gold fudge-making medal?
