I co-ordinate the one-to-one tuition at our school, and deliver a fair amount of the Maths tuition myself. With one of my current tutees I'm using various methods to reinforce times table facts and speed up the child's recall of those facts, including matching questions to answers as quickly as possible.

Having been out the previous evening I was too tired to be adventurous with my packed lunch, so I made a couple of quick ham sandwiches to take to work with me:

Do you do tuition for the 'elderly'? I hate maths and once I've run out of fingers and toes to count on, I'm in trouble.

I have to stop reading your blog late at night. Every time I see your food, I want to raid my fridge. :)

Can't beat a good ham sandwich! he he! Love this method of teaching times tables. Thankfully I only help out in a year one class so the most maths I do is addition and subtraction! Lol! Abi xxx
