Layer upon layer upon layer...

Prompt 3: multi-layered. My mind immediately went to piles of folded washing. (Why would my mind immediately think of housework??? Why not light and luscious layer cake, or rippling layers of Vienetta ice cream, or the layers of wafer within a KitKat???)

Ah well, instead of baking a cake or popping out to buy some ice cream or chocolate, I photographed some of the endless pile of folded washing:

f/2.8, 1/8 sec, ISO-100

Talk about multi-layered, I'm sure these layers multiply whenever I turn my back! Still, at least all this lot is clean and dry, I just need to put it all away now...

Lovely! The purple garment is very intriguing. Fun to try and imagine what each layer is.

one of my 1st thoughts was cake too! didn't think of layers that multiply but true of my pile of things that need ironing too

My daughter assures me that in 3 years at uni she never ironed a thing! If something was completely crumpled she would just give it a swipe with hair straighteners! What is it about ironing that we all hate (apart from the fact it multiplies the longer you leave it?)

Could it be that laundry was foremost on your mind since you are still catching up from your vacation? At least that pile is done!

Aaargh! more ironing! I swear that every blog tonight has mentioned the dreaded "I" word ...... so hurtful to be reminded about the mountain behind the sofa :(

Layers and layers of ironing are piled up in front of me this morning, so I had to laugh. i'm loving the different interpretations of this one.

Laundry was the first thing that occurred to me too. Followed by a digital scrapbooking page in PSP, all the layers
