Bit of a heavy post today...

...in response to the boot camp prompt 'full-bodied'! Photographically I thought of wine, then I thought of coffee; as a journaling prompt though I decided to go with the idea of health, fitness and weight.

f/2.8, 1/58 sec, ISO-200

I don't worry too much about my weight, to be honest; I do keep an eye on what I eat and try to do some exercise (though my enthusiasm for that waxes and wanes...) What matters to me is that my clothes fit OK and I look all right in them!

I do have a bit more to say about the whole issue of weight and self-image, but that's for my art journal rather than my blog. I'm still pondering a couple of the prompts but I'm nearly ready to start that project now - I'll let you know how I get on with it :-)

Such a healthy attitude. It's one I've tried to have, but, recently, as I inch toward 50, I am heavier than I've ever been and just not as fit as I like to be. So, I think I may have to become more intentional about my health & fitness now.
BTW, nice photo of the scale. It can be hard to photo a clear object, but you did great.

I had to laugh at this prompt turning up on the very day it took me 5 minutes to work out I was trying to get into my daughters jeans instead of my own. I was pretty relieved when I finally did look at the label :)

Very clever. There was I expecting bad news from your title and I found instead a fine shot from an odd angle.

I think a lot of people would have thought of this topic for the prompt - you do have a very healthy attitude Mel and the shot is a great one! :-)
