On June 16th I went on a training course about using maths across the curriculum. It was really interesting, useful and inspiring (you can't always say that of training courses!) I came away with a sheaf of resources, including editable files on that CD-ROM, ready to use in my own teaching and pass on to colleagues.

And here's the coffee I drank during the break - and yes, I did get a couple of funny looks while taking this photo!

but does anyone ever ask why we are taking photos of 'odd things' or start a conversation becasue of it? Sometimes I wish they would rather than just looking puzzled

Just the thought of having to sit through a maths training course would have me needing many of those cups of coffee! How can you love maths so much???
Now if only they did chocolate training courses at school .....

I'm with Deb on this one. a maths training course and I'd need a coffee. And then a lie-down probably.

Ooh Deb that chocolate training course sounds good - Can I join you?

I like the little elements of life that you manage to capture Mel. I was a little braver with my camera the other day and managed to take a picture of Tesco petrol station before anyone noticed - or at least I don't think anyone did!!
