If it hadn't been for the new car and then my trip to see Mamma Mia, the World Cup would have featured before now! But here it is, June 13th, 3 days in. By now England had drawn with the US (poor Robert Green...)
And here's a perfect snack for in front of the football - homemade tortilla chips:
Cut a tortilla wrap into triangles (I cut it into 8 wedges then cut each wedge into 4 triangles). Spray a baking tray lightly with olive oil, arrange the tortilla pieces in the tray, then spray lightly again - this helps them to crisp up and also helps any flavourings to stick! Sprinkle with a little salt and pepper, or with chilli powder, or paprika, or other flavouring of your choice. Bake at 200oC for about 15 minutes, until lightly golden and crisp. One tortilla will supply two servings.

will be trying those snacks soon - look so yum and easy
Looks like a great snack.
I see you've got half a wall covered with a chart. We have too :)
Great idea. Have a good day.
That sounds a much healthier version of tortillas than the 'Buy packet from Tesco. Open packet. Eat. The whole packet. On your own.' (Oh the shame!)
Deb you make me giggle :-) These are so easy to make and I love how they can be so eaily customised.
Hi Mel ~ I know what you mean about being busy. I've been in the same boat lately...just trying to keep up!
I'm a big fan of rice pudding so I'm going to give your recipe a try! And I like your take on the tortilla chips. These are also great sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon for a sweet treat. :o)
Hang in there! xo
Actually watching today's games while cruising the blogs. Really hope both the US and England go through, but our boys need to plunk one in thenet still.

Those chips looks so yummy. We'll have to give that a try at home!
Wow.. is that what tortilla chips actually are? I think even I could make those!
