On June 12th I went to see Mamma Mia, along with a couple of friends and The Mother (and rather a lot of other people, some of whom were dressed up - what a pity we didn't think to do that too...) It was really good, nearly all the cast gave strong performances (I was slightly disappointed in the Sky character, that's all) and the staging was cleverly done. A great night :-)
Earlier that day I'd made a little batch of mini cinnamon rolls; The Doctor, The Children and I had two each:

Mamma Mia is one of the shows I would like to go and see :). The cinnamon rolls look really yummy, I'll have to check your recipe to see if they're there!
I loved Mamma Mia! But now you have reminded me of it I will have those songs going round in my head all day!
I really enjoyed Mamma Mia. I saw the movie first and then the show came to town.
Love the movie - would love to see the live version and what fun to dress up if I did go
Loved the film....have never heard so many people singing in the cinema.....a stage version sounds interesting
Oh my Mum and I went to see Mamma Mia on the 7th June! In Australia. We loved it - I did tell mum that I had my sequinned white jumpsuit all ready..LOL..Perhaps if I had gone with a large group of friends I would have dressed up.
Now, I've never been much of an Abba fan but I do love a nice cinnamon roll. Mmm
I'm so jealous of your lovely meals and baking!! I don't know where you find the time.. you pack such a lot in your days! :o)
I've seen these rolls around quite a bit lately - were they easy to make? Must give them a try some time :-)
Glad you like the show - it has been very popular here.
mmmmmm, cinnamon rolls.... the offer still stands - you can come cook at my house anytime!
wow lucky you I love Mama Mia. Those cinammon rolls look yummy!
yum yum! I love a warm cinnamon roll!
Carrie and I saw Momma Mia in New York a few years ago and LOVED it! Glad you had an opportunity to see it as well.
We bought ABBA's greatest hits c.d. right after we saw the show! :o)
We are going to see the show when it comes to Cardiff later in the year. We went to Bristol when it was there and totally fell in love with the guy who played Sam - especially when he sat on the front of the stage (we were in the second row) and sang to us.
~remembers that night - sigh~
We also went four times to the movie, taking different people with us each time. Sad? Me? it was fantastic!
I'd love to see that show...I've nearly worn my DVD of the movie clean through! As for cinnamon rolls...only two?...what self control!!LOL!!!
Desperate to see Mamma Mia myself! The rolls look rather scrummy - have you a recipe for them?
love mamma mia live. best show ever. glad u had a g8 time
