I got some petrol on May 13th, and it was a good opportunity to record the current price of fuel (as well as being a regular part of my life!) Remember when fuel first went over £1 a litre and we were all aghast? *sigh*... (And I note that I've inadvertently included another self-portrait!)

That day was the last day of The Doctor's teaching term and while he still had (and has) a LOT of work to do - indeed, the following day, the 14th, was his hardest and longest working day in ages - it was nice to mark the end of his teaching by sharing a curry. I had saag aloo with pilau rice and a mini garlic and coriander naan bread and it was delicious - and there was enough left over for lunch the next day, too! :-)

Mmm, it does look like an extremely good curry. We celelbrate the end of the uni teaching term here too because then there's half a chance my brother might make it home from the states for a while

I love the petrol shot for the fact that you can see where you are and there is a glimpse of you as well :-)

I was thinking earlier this week that putting petrol in the car was something I must remember to include in the photo a day project.

I used to be an academic - remember the feeling of end of teaching and the frustration that everyone thinks that means you have nothing to do all summer!

I'm not too keen on curry, thanks very much. I think fuel is over 120p/litre by us now ~ shocking, isn't it? And we're lucky in that we don't need to use our car every day.
