The Doctor and I stayed up on May 6th to try to find out what would happen in the election. Bit of a waste of time really, as no-one knew what was happening by the following morning or even over the following days! This photo was taken in the early hours of the morning of the 7th, just after Lembit Opik had lost his seat (big surprise there), and just after David Cameron had safely kept his (no surprises there!)

Another banana-free smoothie I found was the cranberry, blueberry and cherry variety. It's very nice, but even though I'm a big fan of cherries I think the apple, kiwi and lime version is better and will stick to that in future.

So much change going on in your part of the world - makes the need for a 'smoothie' all the more necessary!

Ah, yes, politics! I just finished reading Game Change about the last election here. Utterly fascinating, and in parts, quite disturbing.

Love the first photo, as I've been interested to hear what my UK friends think of the election results.
But, more importantly, what's going on with the guy in the back??? With the yellow trim and large yellow ribbon/button???
Do tell!

I'm still excited by the thought of a proper Caolition ~ I just hope the Government is allowed the opportunity to get on and do.
